Looking for scholarly pen pal...

Most of my friends are only single celled and I spend the majority of my time behind a microscope or book. Although science tends to own me, my inherent intellectual abilities, lie somewhere in the humanities. I enjoy the unresolved melancholy of Russian literature and plan to self-exile myself to Siberia on February 19th. I will be staying in a cabin and attempting to open up a diplomatic relationship with the indigenous people. I would dearly like an engaging pen pal to warm up my new subzero lifestyle. I tend to write in fleeting thought mode, which can seem impertinent, so I apologize for that in advance. I wish I had been a maverick architect and it would be nice to have some symmetry in my life. I enjoy reading, scuba diving, red wine, chess and scrabble. I'm looking for a productive citizen who can challenge me to a fierce game of chess! I feel contrived writing about my life and prosaic feelings, so that's enough for now.
