Life teaches me to move slowly toward a conclusion, especially conclusions about people. But, what am I looking for? No way some absurd combination of hair color, age, eduation, likes, dislikes. I'm looking for a conscious human being with a heart. But, it helps much if you really can diagram a sentence. I just ruled out 95 percent of match.com's female population. Quality and character are worth patience. I lost the most magnificent LTR in the history of the world to breast cancer. Her IQ was higher than mine by at least 15 points, but she made everyone else feel as though they were as smart as she was. After four years readjusting to the planet now I'm ready to try to give my undivided attention to someone who's discovered what's important to a man, to those around her, and to herself. I'm not talking about candlelight thunderstorms in front of the fireplace in Bermuda. If you need to make that an explicit request or requirement, I'd probably have trouble understanding you. My girlfriend in college pointed out to me once, "if you have to ask, you're not with the right partner." She was wise. She couldn't marry me because I wasn't Jewish for her mother, but I pray for her absolute happiness at least once a month wherever she is. So maybe my profile is different from what you've come to expect. That's okay. It's good for an open-minded down to earth woman to enjoy the unexpected from time to time, especially one of the loveliest ones who can't live without laughter. One of the things I'd love to hear about during our first one-to-one exploration of chemistry at that out of the way quiet outdoor cafe in Manhattan is the most recent thing you intentionally did or said to make a man in your life laugh.
