I want a Lego girl, not a Barbie girl. Someone who doesn't tell me what I want to hear. Someone who is gosh-wow intelligent and uses her brain for recreation. Someone who is beautiful without trying. Someone who can take criticism as well as I can. Someone who doesn't care too much about material possessions. Someone who never stops learning. Someone who is not afraid to eat something bizarre. Someone who would rather go to the museum than the beach. Who prefers books to television. Who would rather stay in mediocre hotels so that we can afford to travel more often. Who considers shopping a necessary evil. Who is passionate about her eccentric hobbies. Who wants children. Who really cares about helping the world. Who can enjoy a bad wine even if she knows the difference. Who bends over backwards not to make anyone feel bad unnecessarily. Who thinks logically and doesn't get upset if I disagree with her. Who is articulate and charismatic. Who takes the time to learn her mailman's name. It doesn't seem too much to ask...
