Nice guy looking for nice girl

I'm just a normal kind of guy, I guess. I've been told I'm intelligent and funny, but it seems kind of strange to claim that here. Like I'm bragging or something. I enjoy a lot of things, but what I really like best is having fun and and being friends with people. I can be a bit opinionated sometimes, but I try to curb that with a healthy dollop of humility. I'm not religious in any way, but I don't mind religious people. Politically I'm pretty far to the left, but I don't really like throwing myself behind a political banner, I think that's dangerous. I view life as a series of opportunities to be happy and help other people to be happy. Emotional intimacy is very important to me in a relationship because I'm a very curious person and I like to get to know people. Physical relations are fun, but are not actually that important to me. I'm experienced-ish in that area, but I don't apply pressure. I'm looking for someone interested in enjoying themselves, learning and experiencing the world. I cycle virtually everywhere, which keeps me in pretty good shape, and I try to look after my appearance (although I can be a bit absent minded when it comes to combing my hair).
