Musician and lover of knowledge!

Sometimes I find myself thinking that i'm an absolute nerd. And then I realize: I wouldn't have it any other way. I love learning. Nonfiction reading is something I do for pleasure, and watching documentaries and TED talks with friends is my idea of a good time. I love learning about neurobiology, debating fiscal policy issues and researching world religions, but music is the one thing I can’t go a day without doing. I like music a lot. I love playing piano, flute and varoius other instruments, and singing. I like coffee and tea, hot or iced. I like meeting new people, especially nerdy people I think a lot. I like other people who think a lot, and disagree with me. I tend to have an opinion on everything, but I try to be open to other points of view and look at the world through from perspectives.. I like trivia, long intellectual conversations and being spontaneously nerdy. I'm a junior at the big music school in Rochester. My major is Music Education, and I play piano as well as other instruments. I love performing, collaborating and teaching, and I will be doing even more of that once I graduate!
