The best way I can describe myself is as a compassionate, spiritual, light hearted intellectual who has a knack for making people smile. I like to make people feel good. I love comedy, drama, anything that can stir the soul and rattle the mind. I work for a hospital and I do some writing on the side. I have two beautiful daughters, and a very talkative cat. I read quite a bit, and I love stories whether its others or my own. I am honest and sincere. I approach relationships on an equal basis. I enjoy the intensity of a romantic relationship. One based on trust, compassion, and communication. I find people who are engaging, intelligent, and expressive to be more than ample company. A lady who is comfortable with herself, and is is willing to be in an equal relationship is someone whom I could really be around. Having the qualities of a sense of humor, even if it is campy, is always a plus. Of course, I am a packaged deal since I have custody of my daughter, and so someone who can deal with children and love them is a big deal to me. A quick wit, compassionate, and loving are traits that I admire in people. Above all, a woman who is beyond playing the petty games of traditional dating, who is willing to be an adult about a relationship, and has an open heart with an open mind. Soulmates do not exist, they are made. By that I mean that a serious relationship is one that is worked for on a daily basis. I do not obey traditional gender roles, as I believe there is a balance to even that, and so I do not fall into the trap of making someone else obey traditional gender roles either. Its safe to be yourself with me, because I am who I am, so you are who you are, and I respect that in everyone. Even more so with the one I am involved with romantically. We make our own rules.
