I'm living in Austria as an English Language Teaching Assistant, and have graduated from Reed College with a degree in philosophy, and have written primarily on German phil. Being creative and reflective in all aspects of life, as well as sharing time with intimate friends is vital to me. I love dancing, painting, and music as much as spending time with loved ones and friends and thinking about what it means to be human and to live a good life. Emotional and intellectual balance in life, a joyful attitude, and a big, open smile are essential traits for a potential partner. It is often the case that I simply cannot help but smile, just for the fact of being alive. As the Buddha once said, 'There is no way to happiness, happiness is the way.' I love the natural world and spend as much time as possible in nature. It is also very important for me to feel connected to my physicality, making health, fitness, and sexuality integral to my well-being. I love spending my free time with good friends, watching art films, going for reflective walks in the city or in the mountains, dancing, just talking, meditating, drinking tea, painting, listening to music, making botanical illustrations, taking pictures, writing in my journal, doing yoga... Right now I am looking for someone to share my life here in Austria with, and perhaps even after my two years here have ended--who knows? For me a good relationship always stems from a strong, supportive, and intimate friendship that nevertheless allows for individual freedom of expression.
